Ours is an extremely close-knit community where people pooled in their minimum resources to ensure that no one goes on an empty stomach. In this alarming situation, our team mobilised the available resources and people to help the affected from the slums of Tikiapara, Bankra, and adjoining areas in our own small ways. Considering the fact, the organization chalked out a plan to distribute ration kit including rice, atta, oil, spices, soap etc. The activity has been started since lock down period and so far 15680 families have been covered under this activity.
SHM volunteers are trying to make the beneficiaries aware about different measures of protection especially social distancing and use of mask while talking with others.
